Wii accessories can cost more money than the Wii itself. It is mind blowing to see how many accessories can be purchased to go along with the wii console. I thought it was a reasonably priced console between $300 and $400, but was I wrong!!! For starters the Wii console pack usually only comes with two controllers when all the games can handle more than two players playing them… Then you have the normal controllers, the nunchuk controllers, the steering wheels, guns, and so on. There is a different controller for any number of games. For example the mario cart racing game requires a steering wheel and a boxing game requires a nunchuk.

The accessories for the Wii console do not stop there. These controllers have to be recharged and to save money on batteries it is better to buy a wii controller regarge unit or dock. Now this isn’t just a simple plug it thing: it’s a stand and it could hold 2 to 4 controllers and a few numchucks, and the wii console itself.

Then after all these accessories, there are the covers for the wii accessories. Who ever thought of this is a genius!!! Not only do you need lots of accessories with your Wii console, but you also need covers to protect them from dirt and damage. Most of the covers are cheap silicon covers that fit perfectly over the accessories. For example the controllers have silicon covers and so does the Wii fit balance board. If you thought that was enough accessories for one console, wait there’s more…The silicon covers come in different colors so you can color co-ordinate you Wii to match your house.

Don’t get me wrong though, because even with all these extra accessories and expenses, the Wii is the best console to buy. Everyone can play it.
