  1. I was on the brink of buying this game, but at the last minute decided to rent it instead and I`m glad I did. It`s by no means a bad game, it`s just painfully average. Let me start out by saying the game looks great and has a nice hand drawn feel to it. The story is pretty much a throwaway and the motion controls, i.e shaking the Wii remote to collect money becomes tedious rather quickly. My girlfiend, who is the definition of a casual gamer enjoyed the game much more than I did. The overall experience lasts roughly 5-6 hours (unless you try to complete the game %100) Younger children will probably find aspects of the game, especially later bosses far to difficult. If you have a Wii and want to play some great 2D platformers I recommend downloading Super Mario Bros. 1-3 or Super Mario World, the Bonk games, or even the Donkey Kong Country games; just please don`t spend fifty dollars on this.

If you’ve seen the SNL skit featuring this game, then you’ve seen the most fun to be had with this product. The gameplay core-concept is laughable and basically amounts to a sophmoric joke.

First of all let me say that I am a 2d game aficionado. I have collections of 2d games that I cherish. This game I had high hopes for, but it is really an adventure game disguised as a platformer. Most platform games do not have you looking for objects in order to open up other levels. I enjoyed the platforming aspects, but I hate that if I finished a level and did not pick up a hidden treasure, I had to go back in the level to find the object. I am still waiting to get a new Super Mario Bros for the Wii. I really enjoyed the one on the DS.

Found this game to be a little lackluster, honestly if you want a cartoon like game that is really fun, then ratchet and clank: tools of destruction is way better, or even metal arms: glitch in the system. Both had fun interactive environments as well, granted they are both shooter type games, just found this one to be pretty repetitive to say the least, but if you like 2d games, this is your game. Just hard for me to rate this good even with pretty graphics when there is a glut of other good titles on various consoles out there. Granted the wii has had some innovative games with its control scheme, this is just boring.

  5. Ok, first of all, I am a real fan of all that is mario and wario, but this game, well it starts out looking like the kids will be loving it and can be a blast to play….then you actually get to playing it, the first level, i mean the very first level after the training one gives you a great idea of how HARD and frustrating this can be for any child let alone an adult!!!! My son gave up on the first level, I played it and lost patience quickly…..very very frustrating especially because you can only get the stars to master the levels if you can beat the timer and it is by all accounts…too hard for children and too frustrating for me…I don’t recommend it at all!
