It gets you up off the couch (if you want that… boo standing!) and can have you dacing around the room playing games like Wii Sports Bowling, Golf and Far Cry Vengeance. Wii reviews have become something of a pastime across the internet, but not without good cause. The Nintendo Wii is an amazing console, but if you do not already own one, you would be wise not to simply rush out and buy one simply because it is the latest thing. You need to consider the consequences of your actions!

Frequently, the first games played on the Nintendo Wii come from within the sports pack. This particular machine is renowned for providing a full on interactive experience and there in lies the danger. Such games require physical effort and to some extent, this article provides a health and safety warning and a warning to protect your property. At the same time though, it is brilliant opportunity to add more exercise to your life.

Protecting your property includes making sure you wear the wrist strap provided and that it is a proper fit on your wrist. Futhermore, it would be wise to invest in a silicone case for each controller to prevent the controller slipping out of your hand and flying through the tv screen, through the window, or smashing your most precious Ming vase! Or even worse, from smashing into someone’s head! The other thing to watch out for is if you have long arms. I recall getting totally carried away with bowling and ended up using the ceiling as a nail file!

With all of that said, the Wii is a brilliant entertainment system – and that is exact what it is, not just a games console. It has the capability of keeping you entertained for hours with music, movies, tv shows and of course hundreds of games.

The future of the Wii will definitely be geared towards games that can use attachments. Driving games, Flight games and others are simply the first step.
